No. You can't just use a CAST in this one.

This is very different from ps0, you may as well forget everything.

Oh except Over End is still the strongest Sword Photon Art. That's about it.

I don't think the basic combat is that different, well, it doesn't seems to be more mashy at least, right? As for the traps..... (I almost remember how to time each and every weapon without any need to look at all.....)

Just attack takes a very heavy role in this game compare to previous incarnation. If you are used to mashing buttons, you must learn to change your playstyle completely.
On higher difficulty you have to rely on photon arts/tech to deal damages, your normal striking will be doing too miserable damage to kill mobs efficiently, especially when there's a bunch of them.

Mhmmm was thinking about joining myself(after reading about SEGA -possibly- DUMB decision of "no EN version for you")...but i do have a few question:

1)Is the game worth it?(Playied PS1-2-3-4 on my SMS/GENESIS,PSO on Dreamcast & PSU/PSU AoI on my PS2)
2)What are the restriction/s for free players?
3)There is a good nr. of English speaking ppl playing?
4)Do you risk to get banned for talking in english in pubblic/there is some kind of IP banning system?
5)Are Gamepads natively supported, or i better switch Keyboard+mouse?(I usually play melee/assault)

That's all for now i guess; ty in advance for any answer i'll get. Very Happy

1. probably is
2. no idea here
3. as you can see in this thread, you would meet some English people from this forum, I don't know much
4. seems possible, but there's a certain person in this forum that does that on a constant basis and haven't been banned, so probably no ban, but it's going to annoy the Japanese players a bit, I mean it's like you are speaking using alien language on Earth, people around you won't understand
5. it's supported

Trade is disabled for free players, you also can't sell items / set up a shop. You can buy from other player shops though. I believe Premium members also have access to some personal room and have extra storage. Probably a couple of other things that I can't come up with now.

Trade being disabled is probably the gayest thing ever though, since it's one of the main things in mmorpgs. Can't even trade with my friend when I get something I don't need and would be useful to him.

Okay, so I downloaded the downloader, installed SP3 for my XP just for this game, installed the game, and googled for the English patch then download it, then..... it says the server are under maintenance, is it just me or is it the routine maintenance? if it's the routine, can anyone tell me the schedule for maintenance?

Yay giant fat Halloween pumpkin wizards and ghosts in lobby.

The ghosts remind me of the ghost handhelds in CB.
