For anyone interested in starting Mabinogi, there's an update on the 24th that's adding new skills (primarily life and commerce based). They're also (I think) removing the Destiny system and replacing it with the Talent system. So it will be the g17s1 update. More info here. I don't know if they'll be adding the interface renewal or not, but the things they will be adding will be nice. They're also doing some more stacking revamps, so more items will stack higher.
In g17s2 they'll be adding Puppet Mastery and it's related skills. Don't know when this will occur.
In g17s3 they'll also be lowering the experience curve, so you can get to higher levels with less exp, meaning more AP for less work. Also in g17s3 will be the transformation mastery skills and the transformation journal. So now you can transform into Ferghus. :3c

Oh dear. Lower exp curve with the easy to do commerce? I'm already feeling bad for those who got "Lv50/70 at age 10".

Should set an alarm, then, or somethin'! 7:00pm PST on Saturdays. You can usually find those of us that play here in the back/back corner, snuggled up together.
cav and reV can both tell you that commerce isn't as easy as it use to be.
It's not so bad once you know your worst enemies when it comes to commerce, which is bad luck in general (ie. random bandit spawning on top of your head) and lag (be it server or client), both of them can be semi-dealt with by simply NOT doing commerce during peak hours or any time when the server looks laggy as hell, PC lag can have the same effect (causing things to load up too slow). Having a party kinda increases PC lag as well, which doesn't matter as long as you have demigods like Suki facerolling everything, but otherwise... it can be bit problematic.
Otherwise, commerce is cool and shits out gold/exp like mad. I make about 30k ducats per day for a total of about 30 min worth of commerce runs, equal amount of gold and enough exp for a level.

Update: There's going to be another new talent introduced soon! The transformation (?) skills! Turn into bears and sheep and dogs and stuff, heck yeah! Lots of other nice things are going to come with the update, too, like more main story quests.

Damnit. The Quiz Show ended yesterday, didn't it? I had 60 tickets to give you guys, but I haven't been able to find time to log in. I shouldn't even be up right now. It's 2am.

Actually it ends today. Either in an hour if it's strictly ending after the 12th or tomorrow morning during the maintenance. You've still go time to (attempt to) sell those tickets! There's a lot of people trying to sell them since it's the last day so good luck, though.
Either way, don't worry about it, Kray. We managed to get everybody a horsey, somehow.

id like to continue playing mabinogi, but my chars are on tarlach, and i dont feel like spending time to redo all my stuff & get my gear back =(
plus there is no one to play with. whenever i played the world was just desolate. i saw one other player mabye one time na hour if i was lucky. (not counting people afking in main towns/citys)
