Shop version isn't that great, his BD weapon is very inaccurate and his hammer is too slow.

#2 version, though, has a decent melee, two anti-air missiles in his BD which are good and a laser HD which uses the charge-up time to get better accuracy/tracking.

How is it inaccurate...? Honest question, I'm reading the gun type as "beamgun" and I haven't seen Jack Gadget in action. Does it fly all over the place or something? If it shoots anything like other "beamgun weapons then... *scratches head*

He actually looks pretty decent at first glance to me, I must be missing something...

Remove his HD, and AM's.

Use something worth using in combat, not to farm with such as a Handy Zook for airs, with the core for lands and whatnot. Use BS to farm with IMO.
Will edit post later with actual build if you want

Pretty sure he has floatdash, so stack fly and get it.

Eh, I dunno... you're paying an extra 50~60 cost just for the hammer to exist if you look at like-stat BSs.

He has good core fly, I don't see why you couldn't make him a mini-floatdash-alpha with either a burst fire or repair. I guess I'd really have to see his BD in action to make a proper judgement. I'd envision something like this but I highly suggest not quoting it or copying it, given I don't have a Jack Gadget; (And you'd be able to tell I have a particular dislike for air and a slight lack in parts knowledge)

The most important :
- DO NOT CHANGE THE LEGS. For both version these legs are just EXCELLENT (high FLY, decent hp, small size, so much style for both version).
- TAKE ALL the raise cost cartridges as they give 11/12 hp (belong to version) as you'll really need that cost.
- For the version 2 : take at all price enhance internal weapon x2, which improve the missiles from unreliable to good support anti air (very interesting againt M/L AIRs)

After that :
If you have the Jack Gadget 1, remove all parts beside legs. Hammer are just.... reckless, and use part giving FLY and TEC (and some TGH as bonus). AM are not perfects in stats but can be good enough to be used (but if you've something which give more fly/tec go ahead)
If you have Jack Gadget 2, take Legs and BS. The BS is a decent bonus damage output again AIRs, and disturb them well. I don't like the head, but keep in mind this is the second best lazer in CB after Herzantius BS, so if you like it (but you'll have way less free cost so way less FLY.

Why I'm talking about fly? For that : Float Dash. Yes, that little underplayed bot have float dash. Always wondered why EVE, the thing which does 90 damages at each hit, is that hard to catch ? Float dash.

For those who never give a look about that : float dash take the place of a normal dash. The description is accurate : instead of dashing, you'll move flying close to the ground. Most interesting part : you start the dash at full flying speed, and you finish it a full speed. And the movement speed is only depending of fly. Moreover, you can use it in chain, meaning you'll move as fast as a high wlk unit without big interruption, and with better dodge (but you're depending of your boost jauge). Don't forget anyway to have at least 1 point in STR and WLK.

Once the parts are set (remember, FLY and TEC, FLY being the most important stat), the weapons come. Choose if possible weapons with low ammo and high damages ouput (Micro zookas, Peace Maker, Scouter rifle, etc.). Or if you want to play a bit defensive (team cover, anti LND), take one weapon and a Shield. JG2 BS is a very good defensive weapon.

For the remaining cost, most FLY some TEC and that it all.

A little screen for the example (I'm actually hesitating to take 2 micro zooka and tune for FLY and TEC) :

His beamgun shoots fast, has charge-up, and does decent damage, but it doesn't turn fast enough to be accurate. Even a WBG on any arm has better tracking than his core. (His core charges and rapid-fires WBG shots, I think the Mega Beam Gun does the exact same thing with better tracking)

Shop version: Sucks.

Garapon version: Sucks.


I only use his legs from time to time.

BD2 is pretty decent. Fairly small, has float dash, anti air missles, seems pretty good to me.

you can put those jack gadget boosters on some of the chibi robots to effectively give the chibis multiple weapons.

aa missile qood enough to hit non seraph/shaden, yes it's good enough to hit AG and vektors, 2 missile at once on one target, 200 speed with 2x internal which most ordinary AA missile only reach 180 after maximum upgrade, good-small core, I still trying to tune mine to reach 31 fly (28 atm) and will put accel roll latter

ps : need to jump b4 shoot the missile cuz it tend to hit ground D:
