Also, my ivis has a combination of short boost and boost run, but I can't decide between a guard and quick land. That awkward pause after short boost gets me hit a lot :/ Would it be more worth it to go with the quick land?

Short boost is always paired with quick land if you plan on hopping, the only time you wouldn't consider taking quick land with it is on an air that plans to use short boost as a gimp stovl.

It's not necessary with melee hoppers, though it does still help.

VF should be easy to kill as an Ivis. At most, they have 21 ish TGh. They may hit you once, but after that, you tank their slashes and slash away.

Your fears should be anything that can shoot you.

I liked Quick Jump on VF, maybe try it on Ivis if she has it to get even more range on that air combo.

Only meleebots I can think of with quick jump are elisalotte and vanguard.

It's not that I can't kill a VF. I just don't think taking the 100~ish damage from their first hit is worth the effort most of the time. You meant to say quick land instead of quick jump... right?

No, he meant quick jump. It's great because short boost + quick jump puts you high enough to easily hit airs that took off from the same height as you.

Agh, in that case that's too bad :/ I'm usually forced to rely on allies when the airs come interfering... Maximizing movement will probably be the best idea for me atm

yes! run like crazy, not recomeded to use Bost run, u will run out of bost and get hit... use the smal size (hit box) as advantage!!!

now that UC gara have pompom u can add some extra tuning slot to Ivis. u can use it for tunes... remember, if u don-t tune Ivis, she will be a littel crapy (wlk+ stg + Slow+Grappler)

My acutal Ivis have 0 free cost (ok ok hace some but its save for slayer bits, or any 10 cost bits, just for fun, but lances and rifles 0 cost works great!!!) I cant use sniper or radar carts, just don't have capa and would not tune for capa.

Does clearance revenge tune override CV when it activates?

Would it be unnecessary to tune 40 wlk and 17 fly for maximum speed on boost run?

I don't know anyone with max speed boost run on anything. If you really want to blitz someone with shaden-speed running go for it.

Good question. I think revenge tunes occupy a different buff slot than conventional buffs (i.e. Revenge: C.Veil is overridden by chibi kisses), so it might not, but I really have no clue.

Sounds fun. I'll be able to run away from those pesky airs too.

I have 38 WLK/1 FLY Boost run on me right now (orange zone) and it's generally fast enough to outpace most things here (except for Fia's Ouka and Ivis amongst other things; it appears that s/he has the same kinda mentality in mind).

I really do like boost run/short boost combo. Ivis doesn't have quick jump qq But she does have quick land to make it easier to not get as penalized when you missed a pounce on someone.

My Ivis though only has 31 STR. That 40 STR build looks enticing.....

And the mystery has been solved:

Spoiler:

I don't have to tell how unstoppable is Ivis when this triggers, right?

Wow so it doesn't wipe CVeil..

I don't really see how it's...that awesome. Except to..remove slow?....

I'm really confused.
Unless that clearance gives all guard. DOES IT?? O.O THAT SHIELD UP LOOKS LIKE IT SAYS YES ZOMG ZOMG WTF.

But her TGH is still gonna be low as the shit. How much is that all guard gonna help? Not to mention, can it activate more than once in a bot's life? ._.

Seems like an unnecessary use of 30 cost, since it's pretty situational except for the All Guard.

Wait. If you don't even get stunned during CV, how is a revenge tune going to activate when it's "Based on the nature of the stun"?

Sounds like someone doesn't know how CV works.

It's the premise of "if an attack causes you to be stunned while CV is active, you are not stunned," the hit that would've stunned you is still the "stunning blow" and effects occur because you were hit with a "stunning blow"

That doesn't seem like it'd be well-known information.

But either way, it seems like an unnecessary use of 30 cost because
A) Her TGH isn't high enough to survive a long time
B) Her HP is too low (which goes hand in hand with the above)
C) The chance of it activating is so low you'll probably be nearly dead when it happens, and it's mainly just to avoid a Geso Whip/Bugsy Shock. I'd welcome Burning as a means of escape, Disorder and Shell Drain do nothing, and Slow isn't even a 100% chance of happening. Once again, related to the above because most of the time you'll be nearly dead anyway if you do get slowed.

If Ivis actually had more capa to work with, I'd be all for it, but that capa in my opinion would be better used for tuning STR/WLK or even getting TGH to that 11 breakpoint.

@above, the length depends on the nature of the stun, if I remember correctly. When my Daed gets CV activated it usually lasts about as long as a no enhance core Ivis CV, give or take a few seconds.

It makes sense that since stun regain activates regularly on Dae and moreso when his CV is active (CV also resets the cooldown for consecutive stun regain activations), and I'm not under the impression that CS is smart enough to code stun-based effects differently, so a revenge tune activates as frequently as stun regain when CV is active (for reference, even my Dae gets enough stun regains to heal when in CV, and he's at 37 tgh).
