CS prefer to buff things like Rosso. Go figure...

Minaria isn't that bad, her problem is just a bit of faulty design, besides the rain thing and her homing weapon which work quite well, the other things just doesn't work quite right, plus the cost of those things really gimps her. Because the cost of her things isn't done that right, you can make her a rather good and somewhat low cost high tier glide boost bot with really nice stats, sadly by removing things that makes her unique.

Asphe is the same thing, except worse, certain things that she has are faulty in their design, for example her sub working like something from 6 years ago instead of using updated mechanics (while updated mechanics makes something that is faulty by default a lot better, Philia is a good example of that and I don't mean the hit rate, but how Philia doesn't get locked out of proper movement from using her sub. Actually, I think that Winty posted about that before? Not the targeting but some bot that used the old sub mechanics, "you" can search for that because it will most likely fit your tastes better), trampoline is mostly novelty, unless you have a terrible connection and/or most likely boost drive, but by itself, just novelty (only use I found for it was to "quickly" get to a high place which isn't even that high as it's still limited by the art altitude limit, which can still be done without it, without drives it's not really good at anything else, because what it does you can do without it).

Rather than buffs, they need some mechanical changes, and well, yes, "buffs" as in changing numbers, in some cases, cost (Minaria's cost is in all the wrong places).

minaria doesn't need a buff
they could (maybe and just maybe) add more ammo on the debuff sub (so that I don't have to go look for ammo halfway throught long matches)
or add some more force to it (which would prob make her broken, like say, melfi heart)
or both and make her completeky broken

don't use the other parts
shit sucks

As far as I've played her, the sub weapon is a good way to attack some fly-based arts. It's worked for me a lot of times. What makes her bad is the range of her weapons (one of her bad designs), which makes her bad for this meta.

As for Kanna's buff, the blue bubble she shoots at the end of her combo only protects her from blast damage as far as I've confirmed (my mistake about it protecting her from all ranged attacks).

The range of her weapons is appropriate for themselves, but perhaps the weapons themselves aren't appropriate for her. Psygun mostly always had issues unless in the cases they made it broken to survive as a solo weapon, usually they aren't great as a solo weapon because yeah, they are mostly meant to operate at very specific ranges, and not long ranges. And even though her psygun isn't good at the same range that others are good at, she's pretty meh from her sweetspot to the end of her range, not a good thing to have as a main weapon, probably the worst design choice in her case.

More range just lets her potshot, and that's not necessarily an improvement.

Whoever designed her weapons just had a pretty big brainfart, they followed the trend of mid range arts with her and used a psygun for that (which isn't the first time), but someone reminded that arts aren't meant to be exclusively good at close range and decided to make her psygun bad at close range, the range that usually psyguns are good at. And they even gave her stuff to support that, but just made it so damn lazily and badly.
So she ends up with a gun that is only good in a very small space window instead of being good at close~mid range, and what's the only way to make use of that? The same way as with any other bad homing weapon, potshot range.

If they just refined her shit, made her gun work well through the full length of her range, made her sub work like recent stuff and not limit her movement and a couple more force on her gun,  you would have a pretty good close~mid range art.

But yeah, if you don't change the mechanics then yeah, range would make her better, because range makes bad things better.

Edit: Yeah, double checked, she has that horrible "press sub to fly forward" BS from 2010, but hey, at least she can turn away because her sub ignores her facing direction, still she would be a whole lot better without that. And that silly mid range redirection on the psygun is just way too late, have it happen a lot earlier and it would be a lot better. Trampoline also could be better if they removed the animation that forces her to look towards the direction that she's moving too and let her always face the crosshair direction.

i can't even imagine how'd they fix kanna reasonably. getting close to a support group to use her gimmick would be hard and won't even be worth it for that tiny, redundant, short lasting, blast only barrier.

it'd be hilarious if she started shooting a gravity field instead or along with the barrier. or instead of destroying support fields she stole them for her team.

Biggest problem is the bit charging after being used, which makes you lose most of the WB and most of the time by the time you finally start giving buffs the bit is already dead. She could use the bit buffs being charged before and after she uses it.

Actually, that'd be a nice way of using her. If she has the ability to destroy support fields of her teammates to get buffed, why not? Now it'll depend if the player using her will troll his team or not.

Or... her buff should give her a very big boost in stats, damage, speed and defense. Because destroying support fields isn't an easy task to begin with.
