Is it even realistically possible to get a 40/40 FLY/TEC with her?

Unless you use high capa AND great capa i doubt it. And she is not OP enough to justify that.

I like her gliding mechanics with steal-boost homing, i think its an improvement of saya abilities. In theory i do not need to hit the ground during the entire battle as she can fly up while gliding as long as she has boost left (which you can steal from others).

That's why im interested in a build for her.

All the builds i tried so far seem to imply it is not possible to get 40/40 FLY/TEC. CS may have exaggerated with the slot limitation.

I tried 2 builds here:

  • Will stop leveling at 9 and drive from there.
  • Didn't chose ex on the simulator because im focusing on tec/fly, when actually tuning her will use some ex.
  • I left 1 of the 3 slots unused on purpose, i plan to only get 2 slots for minaria.
  • I left weapon slots unused on purpose too, for aesthetic reasons.
  • Added more speed and ammo to her weapon once because she may need more ammo if will survive for the entire battle and faster bullets to hit the enemy.
  • Stuck with default bit because other bit will go over-capacity.
  • Can't have a custom BS.

  • Exactly the same as other build except that sacrificed 1 tec so can have a custom bit. Propeller bit on this case.



To be honest i dislike both builds as it severely limits her. Specially the inability to have a custom BS.

My version:
 

The idea is to simply bombard enemies while leisurely gliding from above. I think propellers could be optional: one can simply steal boost after running out of gas, or land on a high spot with precise maneuvering.

Considering that BASE jumping is slooooow, you need not focus on too much FLY. 31 or 34 is enough by my standards.

Ditch the headset, 1 TEC is better than 1 TGH. Aesthetic reasons? Just no if you want to go meta.

The umbrella have 2 methods for you to go quick jump, so I suggest quick land instead.

Chloe BS is available in shop.

And as for the camera, well... can you even last that long when you're a floating target for alpha strikers and huge cannons? I tuned speed instead.

And also, no slots used. I'm a peasant, sorry.

why do you have 36 fly
why aren't you using a booster? boosters give more cost in stats than they give in cost.
why aren't you using handhelds? great tunes are far more inefficient than handhelds are.

Im guessing it affects the glide, making her fall faster...which is the opposite purpose of it.

Well, you are technically not floating all the time, as you can move with gliding using boost, like on this gif:



If that's not enough i thought in one of those special BS for escape emergency situations:



If you can escape alpha strike with that (specially first gif)...i do not know. I haven't tested her enough.

The funny thing is that if i had gone and maximized every single slot many here would have said:

"You don't have True Skill™ and rely on broken builds to play."

Pretty ironic to hear complaining while doing a "handicapped" build that goes against broken bots, something many here claim to love.

You really do not get it, do you?

Im aware i left 3 slots open.

Even with them, i think CS really limited her default slots, unlike saya/Koyomi.

Saya gets 9 by default (not counting accessories nor flashdrives).
Koyomi gets 9 by default (not counting accessories nor flashdrives).
Minaria gets 6 by default (not counting accessories nor flashdrives).

Are you going to argue with this fact?

Unless you want to go through 2~3 extra subweapon slots losing valuable seconds while changing from umbrella attack to boost steal, i think flashdrives are superior if want a way to get stats that doesn't affect gameplay.

there are parts which do not add weapons for all the slots listed.

CS limited her "default" slots but allowed her to have a booster, so she has 3 less slots.
Saya and Himari can't have boosters, so they have 3 more slots.
Not counting handheld weapons(where himari only gets 1 handheld and saya and mina get 2) they all have the same number of default slots if you actually put a booster on mina.

Was going to post builds w/o great tunes, but people alrdy did that. Please don't use greattier to often. Your build becomes poop if you overdo it.

free bs slot = bs of your choice+3s(+1s for bsj)
thats mean these free moes will have 9 slot total(exclude 2handheld slot and 2 acc)

Press Q or E for instant weapon switch. For example, right click to glide, then E+M2 to rain.

Alternatively, E+M2 to glide, then right click to rain. It depends on the arrangement of your weapons.

Q is for Flowering Gun.

Look on the dictionary the meaning of the word "default".

I don't care if she has 1 of 300 slots for a BS o 10 slots for weapons, by default she comes with 6 slots, you can add a 3s BS, but its not a default one.

We are talking of default slots here, not potential slots.

That's why i specified no flashdrive.

It is an absolute, un-debatable fact that by default minaria comes with less slots than saya/koyomi.

How hard is that to understand?

While i agree Q and E are useful for many robots, it is not for all.

Take Lisel for example. If you blindly rely on Q and E with certain robots you will most likely make big mistakes while shooting weapons.

Kind of off-topic since Lisel isn't part of the flashdrive bots, but if you truly believe "learn to play the game" involves relying on a feature that can fail or doesn't apply to some robots then its not really "learning to play".

Most of the modern characters are designed around the q&e changes. Minaria to. You're clearly supposed to use the q key to charge and lead the steal boost shot. Lisel's weapons are no exceptions in that regard. It's just annoying to arrange them. Why do you think so many units these days have one lockon and one counter/locomotion/buff/we weapon?

Why are you complaining about default slots when you can give her more slots by giving her a BS or handhelds omg. The default slots don't even matter when you can give her 9 more slots just by giving her 1 BS and 2 handhelds. And that's JUST giving her those. Look at that, you don't even have to spend DX coins to give her those slots. Who cares if she has less slots than the last flavor of the month bots, what matters is that she has enough slots for a full build

Idek how you argue against using Q and E I'm just not going to touch that

He mentioned the aesthetics thing at one point, it just has nothing to do with the "default slots" thing

But it's still kinda dumb so it's worth bringing up, since there are boosters like chloe bs that look good on moes
