Besides, we have much stronger melee, ranged and support options now, so lasers and cards aren't the absolute best weapons anymore. Putting them back in the game won't make them dominate entire matches. Lasers deserve to get back their niche as close-range high damage weapons against mobile targets.

This is made all the worse by the fact that the only laser-using moebot (Mikoto doesn't count), Tesladonna, is fairly loved by the community and yet has been forgotten for years (Unko came in what, 2012?) She deserves a HD variant that heralds the return of lasers as viable weapons.

Jikun Hu gets lost again, this time in heaven

He trains for another 50 years, growing old but also becoming THE UNDEFEATED OF THE EAST in the process

He also picks up an angel girl who also wants to be his little sister.

New girl gets the divine buster beam, and she and Chloe fight over the dick of martial arts master Jikun.

P.S. Divine Buster is some big ass beam that hits like a truck, it has nothing particularly divine about it.

It's not really something divine, it's just for naming.

But why name it "Divine Buster" when "Starlight Breaker +" is a more awesome name?

Hmm I'd love to see lasers get some love, ideally I'd love to see some laser sniper rifle of some sort(a nice healthy 300+ range without tunes would be nice), no not on rinka, fuck that bitch.. Anyways a long range laser would be awesome, even with a low damage output or small projectile beam. On the other side a big laser beam with long range would be great too, would be a nice crowd breaker weapon, (thinking something like mikoto /Agnizyne width of laser though I guess the latter is bigger when charged completely)

I might have to go revisit my Agnizyne again, never got around to finishing the tunes on it, needs more health for a laser build.

Sarcastic comment or not, I'll explain anyway.

Divine Buster is a signature beam attack used by Nanoha Takamachi, a magical girl from the series Mahou Shoujo Lyrical Nanoha. It shoots a fairly large pink laser (about the size of Powered Laser in CB).

Since Chloe uses a staff and all (though they prefer to call it the lance of longpinus), and I'm talking about lasers, it would make sense to make a reference to Nanoha.

Speaking of weapons with bonus damage.

Seismic Toss: Kancolle edition
Around wide beam gun stats (but higher interval), smaller bullet, 80 cost, AIR/SUP. Each hit does 4% of maxHP damage to whatever it hits.

It's only 16 damage/shot against a 400 HP bot, but it ignores TGH and shines against 900HP melee monsters. TGH-ignoring damage is real good under PS and with drawguns too, and you don't need to tune STR/TEC if you have this. Ideal for supports looking for some decent damage output without heavy investment.

Momiji kind of does this by proxy already, except her version is more potent because Melt does extra things in addition to the damage.

Well okay this isn't a weapon with bonus damage

Or make the Yamato planet an actual planet you can travel to in-game. Heck, make every single planet that every single mech/moe hails from an actual location you can go to in-game.

I know the last one isn't exactly a bot/mechanic/weap but it's just an idea I'd love to see happen
