To compliment darkomen's "Weird Habits" thread, I figured I'd throw up one about this: What scares you?

For me, the list is pretty short:
Deep Water
Death

And, yes, I realize the irony. You don't have to point it out.

Deep Water

I fell backwards into a wading pool when I was three. Instead of just sitting up, I resigned myself to the thought that I was just going to lay there and die. I had an, "oh, well," kind of attitude.. rather apathetic.. Nowadays, I don't like to swim or dive and I don't like to go out on a boat. I also hate the beach. I also live ten miles away from an extremely deep, man-made lake (South Holston.) Fuck the water.

I hate being in a crowd of people. It makes me want to pull out a weapon and attack those around me.

Crowds make me very, very nervous. I typically have a fight-or-flight reflex in very large crowds.

Insects.

I just cry when they are on me. I never understood why I'm like that. Even the smallest one freaks me out.

Never forget when it was really dark and I was under a tree opening the garage and I just felt something on my back inside my shirt... screamed and cried and took my shirt off in the middle of the street.

Everytime I think about situations like this I adsfjkasndjaretggakdfjgaUI3Q8AF

I don't kill them tho. I just need them away from me.

Dogs. I was biten as a child and now, depending on my overall constitution, they either make me nervous or downright make me cry in fear. I'm really scared of dogs.

Lightning or more, being struck by it.

Guess the rest is obvious~

Probably heights. And closed space. And dark places. And cockroaches. And flying insects. And. And. And durians.

Disappointment from others.

Seafood, ironically. I had a very bad experience once, and now I absolutely abhor it.

Heights

Deep Water

Tornadoes

Always being afraid my friends might not really be my friends, or that I'm annoying them/they don't like me (this kinda stems from low self-esteem)

And for some reason what happens to us after we die

And having to leave friends behind

I can relate to the moths-part. Never minded butterflies though. It must be hard if you can't enjoy watching them in spring D=
