H/She meant the in-game implementation of widescreen. It is where your in-game field-of-view covers more area.

From my testing in training and 1v1, if enemies are all within melee striking distance, Machintlet AM2s seem to just default to the usual finger jabbing the nearest enemy. You have to be "gun" distance away to trigger the magnetism effect after marking, which results in an entirely different attack setup (which force brings in the target while charging up a punch then unleashes it as soon as the bot enters range). Either way, it's a poor implementation; they should've made the Attract + Charged Punch a non-Alpha "melee main", since it doesn't combo with other melee weapons than itself unlike the regular two-hit jab.

Could also be a bug, but we'll see. Has anyone found out whether or not Machintlet AM2 and Magnell G can make use of magnetized targets for tag-team style back and forth?

Well, in Machintlet 2 description did say about magnell G is his training partner and Machintlet entering tag team match.

Only need someone to try what artemia said.

It's not exactly possible unless people want to stretch out the display. And that's not even really achieving the widescreen view. It's just covering the wide screen with, again, a stretched out display. The aspect ratio is still 4:3, in terms of the pixel measurements.

This...I want to test this so bad, but I've yet to find anyone using either in a match..

I have both magnell and machintlet 2 but I've yet to run into someone to test with

Guess I'll start bringing my magnell more regularly though and hope I run into machintlet 2 AM users
