PostSubject: Looking for MMOG Suggestions   Wed Oct 09, 2013 3:27 am

Seeing as how my attention to CB is currently fading (again), I'd like to ask for suggestions for any other MMOGs, aside from the ones by CS, PSO2 and RO2, that are worth playing.

I do have a few criteria that I'd like to be satisfied, but that doesn't mean I won't try it if it tickles the fancy:

1. Non-browser based.
2. Has a sizable and nice community.
3. Isn't hardware-extensive.
4. Probably a little on the cutesy, moe-ish side.
5. Has lolis.

Grand Fantasia might be okay-ish to look at. It doesn't have big hardware requirements and the community is fairly active. Graphics are anime-ish but could be better. There are no lolis but that doesn't matter because you striked that out.

If you're going to recommend Grand Fantasia you should recommend Eden Eternal instead. It's by the same creators and Imo, way better. The only reason I'd go for Grand Fantasia is because of the Sprite system. Personally I'd go for Kitsu Saga but it got shut down because all players left and most didn't return once Eden Eternal got released.

Still waiting for Lime Odyssey, but since it's been years ago that it got announced and hasn't even gone in beta, it's probably never gonna come anymore.

I already played Aeria EE, and the community is currently shit: The top guild is full of elitist SGs and HKs, there are Indos and Viets talking on map-wide chat. And the Pinoys, oh the Pinoys...

Aeria-wise, I was around when Dream of Mirror Online (DOMO) happened, and boy, was that the only game that lasted for two years without a hitch before Aeria decided to shut it down because of low population due to players migrating to their newer games. I was playing there before someone recommended CB to me.

As for Lime Odyssey, I've also been waiting for it to happen since their beta last year. Guess it won't.

I sorta quit EE together with Aeria itself for constantly blocking my acc. Apparently if you're inactive for too long they decide to block your acc and you can spend a week trying to get it back. Noty.

I kinda miss DOMO, met some great people on there.

Also, pretty sure Lime hasn't gone into beta yet? I'm only aware of the alpha having been around a year ago. Sign ups for the beta are still open but eh.. never gonna happen. EE and KS got released pretty quickly after being announced, but Lime is taking ages.

For some reason all games with good communities shut down. ; -;

I used to play DOMO too before it was shut down. I was pretty sad when I realized it did shut down, it was really unique. I mostly liked being able to fly around manually

Good luck with requirement number two though. There' a lot of mmo with shitty community, sadly enough. Inb4 someone claims only shitty people play mmo's.

I liked DOMO primarily because of its unique class change system. You can use three classes at the same time, provided you have invested skill points for using certain skills. This makes your character unique in a way, since you have a plethora of builds that use a variety of sub-classes to complement your main class. The Sprite race was also a big factor since I like cute avatars.

EE just lets you change classes, but doesn't let you use other classes' skills, which was a letdown.

Lastly, Emil Chronicle Online's EN server on SG closed down because, I dunno.

DoMO getting closed left a bitter taste on AERIA players everyone went to either LO but no one knows if even the beta its gonna start around this century, players there are going delusional because of the amount of time that has happened and no ETA on BETA or AK turning into LO rival since its new and it might be released sooner

DoMO job system was not unique it just resembles FF XI job system, wich oddly not much games have nowdays, probably because it means more grinding but to tell the truth, who cares? its like having one man army

Actually im in the search of not one but two games as well both MMO but one an action MMORPG priskern and rho suggested PSO2 but the gameguard wants me to have an updated windows instead of my loyal XP, too bad i cant afrod windows 7, tried Dynasty Warriors Online but its like the grinding on its purest ways

And a MMORPG with that kind of job system, tried EE but i could not feel a thing for it, and people say Gran Fantasia but i cant just find that multijob system, also Mabinogi but does not suit my style and looks more like a Korean Megaten Imagine (grinding, grinding, grinding)

Probably its just me but DoMO had cosplaying costumes and you could use your weapon to fly, those things might be wanted unconsciously

Don't. It's dead, like super dead. I got on after it turned into Odyssey and I was like the only person on the world.

Also, Chinese? I've always played the English one. Maybe the Chinese community is more alive, or the English one came back to live for all we know. Though the English already was kinda dead before Odyssey came.

define "English Only"

England? People who speak english? Westerners?

That aside, looks similar to Dragonica. Trying it if im at the verge of dying of boredom. (Hard to do with Gyakuten Saiban, PSP, and manga)

EDIT. (and all my stupid assignments)

after hopping from mmos to mmos all over the years,
i still haven't find one i like.
ok...maybe dragon saga (or dragonica) is not bad.

the following games are not ranked in any order,
just randomly splashing mmos at you.

1. final fantasy online xiv, a realm reborn
personal opinion: might require high computer specifications, but i would
suggest buy playstation 4 or use your playstation 3 to play it.
as this mmorpg can be played in playstation as well.
first time playing mmorpg in playstation, so the control buttons
are very funking weird to me.
oh yeah, you will need to pay a $20/month subscription to play it,
around that amount i guess.

2. s4 league - a mmofps shooting game, but wait.....it does offers sword fighting as well,
and the fact that sword fighting is as powerful as gun shooting makes this game brilliant.
very well balanced mmofps...or maybe i played too much cosmic break...cough...

3. mabinogi - i have no idea what its about but everyone in the internet says its good.
i cant play it due to region blocking.

4. cosmic break from other countries: quite some time ago, at least 1 year, the cosmic break
from other countries just came out, so there were no eris and resha,
everything was so balanced and the players there were so fun to play with.

5. raiderz
6.legend of edda
7. dragon nest
8. heroesgo
9. heroes of the obelisk (i think i played the beta, its now closed, will be
playable at open beta or something as a later date.)
10. hevia clonia (never played it.)

i do not currently play any of the games i mentioned
i dun like any of the game i mentioned
still finding the one game i like.

aura kingdom looks promising.... just like all other mmos.....

the top 3 are given comments as i thought they might
be the mmos you would like as they offers the best moes out there.
just go youtube them.

too busy to finish my lengthy post due to lack of time.
will completed it some other day, or if not possible, i will make
a new post.

to be continued....
