Mecha Gara




We have plenty of new mecha robos rolling out in the Mecha Garapon! The new additions are: Raclaboros, Lepscepter, Artilus, Fulcrum, Cinbydion, Gaderoga Warburn, and CAPTAIN X!



In additional, all Gold and Silver balls rolled in the Mecha Gara will come with tuned up weapons and accessories, until 2/7 only! Roll now to get some extra goodies!

4th Official Clan Tournament



The 4th Official CosmicBreak Clan Tournament registration is now closed! The lottery thread will coming soon, so be sure to keep an eye out! The tournament itself will take place on 1/25 at 18:00 server time, so come out and enjoy the event!

CosmicBreak 2nd Anniversary Campaign EXTENDED AGAIN!



In reward for players beating all of CS GMs in the Heroes vs. CS event, the 2nd Anniversary Campaign has been extended for a week! During the campaign, players can randomly receive Rt from Union Wars as a prize! Players may receive up to 3 Rt per day during the campaign.

The 2nd Anniversary Campaign is extended until 1/24, so make sure to play lots of Arena to get some extra Rt!

IMPORTANT: During this campaign, GMs will be
observing Arena more than usual! Week long bans will be dished out to
anyone found botting in the Arena. Putting a heavy object on your spacebar DOES count as botting! You have been warned.

This week's Weekly Gara features a selection of popular robots from Garapons past. Enjoy!

- Quest Mode has been shuffled.


- New Years Gara has been removed as announced.


- Nemesis Gara has been removed as announced.


- Flapjack and Ivis (HD version) may no longer be detuned for free
as a result of their 2012/11/22 balance adjustments. (We originally only
planned to allow them free detuning until 2012/12/20.)


- 2nd Anniversary Boxes will no longer drop items of any value, as previously announced.


- A.L.E. Crimrose and Woolmerry cubes have been removed as drops from the arena as announced.


- Bug in which Lucca Decho BD@ had a misleading description has been
fixed. Only two of the four shields change into pursuing bits, but the
previous description suggested that all four would change.


- Some notes/warnings have been added to the descriptions of
specific Tune Ups (For example, notes stating that the Tuned Up part
will be un-tradable in Bazaar, that the Tune Up cannot be canceled using
a Cosmo Regret, etc.). No actual changes have been made to the Tune Ups
themselves.


- We have noticed a bug in which, after our recent Transformation
Events, a small number of players' robots were missing Exp, or had
negative Exp. We have sent out Level Up items to several players already
in order to make up for this; if this happened to you and you haven't
received a Level Up item yet, please contact us
with details about which robot lost Exp (include a screenshot if
possible), and we will send you a complimentary Level Up item upon
confirming the bug. Thank you!

This seems like the typical CS strategy of combating the previous garapon with a new one. Last year it was zero units -> wing sluts. Now it's zero units -> units with shock effect and buff debuffers. Instead of actually balancing the game with actual balance adjustments they're conceptually balancing the game by demanding more rt purchases. This is like some cooky doctor's failed plan to combat a patient's cancer by introducing different types of cancer into his system. "Ze patient haz ze lung cancer? Quick, inject him wif ze stomach cancer! It will surely devour ze lung cancer."

Oh, I'm LIKING this....

I wonder if I could, assuming I get one, and can get back in the game anytime soon, fit that Lg on either of my Pulsycaits...the end-result would be the ultimate Disruption/Jammer bot...arts get derped, and any rushing melee bot that gets debuffed ends up getting it's melee options yoinked from it with a Bugsy-blade to the face..-MAN-, I wish I were in there now.... cheers

Indeed. The field removes all positive debufsf while also inflicting the shock status.
In other words, those Ivis/Eris will be stripped out to their bare underwears O.o

My hopes came true,
The support bot IS definitively an Ivis-Killer.

And it also can shock Eris as well as long she's in the field... but...
As her melee-cv-shield isnt removed... she still finishes her combo, resulting her in getting out of the shockfield and being no longer shocked, making her able to continue comboing...

IF only cs had made the shocks from the LG last longer... but they last like 2 seconds only as well.... the melee 2 seconds, the main weapon 1 second shock as far I've counted. At least the LG shock gun is PIERCING and its a big shock-bullet.

I still didnt figure, why the LG Subweapon needs ammo. But the only visible effect the ammo has, is that the final combo spreads 2 huge electrofields at the enemy instead of 1.... why also the other 2 attacks in the combo use ammo as well, I have no clue...

Oh and one more con.
Unlike Kagura unbuff-curse, the shock-field can't remove Resha-Shield (or clearance?)

Huh... I thought you had to get Shocked by something else while in the energy field; I didn't know it inflicted Shock itself. So it's essentially an instant debuff field.

The LG... well, it's a SUP weapon, so you can't expect it to be that great offensively. It's just like the Shock Bazooka and Geso Whip/Scorpion Whip, you have to keep hitting the target to keep it Shocked. It does what it needs to do and that's it. I'll happily take this combo weapon over the handheld versions; it means you get free weapon slots.

Because...

Best shocking weapon is geso whip.
It shocks for like 5 up to 6 seconds.
And it is easy to combo with it.
Its negative side altough is... the whip is really short and the range and speed are very low... you gotta get very VERY close to the enemy to hit him. And doing that with ivises/erises is kind of impossible.

Scorpion whip is also the same, just that it traded the nice combos for a bit longer range. It also lasts... a bit less long than Geso whip.

Then there is bugsy arm. Its kinda neat, as it can be used as a shield as well. Big negative thing about is, that it uses ammo... even very LOW amount of ammo...
but at least it shocks the enemy for like 5 seconds as well.

And now also the shock field. Its kinda hard to use... melees that take care could easily avoid to get into the field. Else the shock/unbuff-curse lasts like 3 seconds. Also refreshing as long the enemy stays inside the field.

And then there are all the other shock-weapons you know.
Shock zookas, and now new that tail.
But their shock lasts only like 1 second....

(In all that I exclude the curse inflicted by Eris / Luto. They also last longer as well, but.... meh. Nothing special about them, and also not avaiable for everyone)

CS seriously needs to make a ranged weapon that inflicts shock for longer... 1 second is too short. 3 seconds for a ranged weapon would be enough. 8 seconds for melee weapons like geso are fine too, but there I would like to see a bigger melee weapon with more range, like the new axis tail has.

I honestly can't recall -ever- running out of ammo with the Bugsy Am2, except in a few drawn out Epoch Defense maps.... *ponders*

...it's still an amazingly effective weapon/shield, especially if concealed behind a shield...unwary opponents will often walk right into it! sunny
